About ILC
Why Impact Leaders Connect?
In 2018, I founded Food and Genes Initiative with the aim of improving the well-being and lifestyle of Africans using research, awareness and technology. The first few months of running the organization was not a smooth experience due to my lack of knowledge and resources needed to run a social enterprise effectively.
Along the way, I had the opportunity to attend several accelerators and conferences such as the One Young World summit and Unleash Plus where I gained insights on how to effectively manage my organization. The challenge today is that many leaders like me don't have the opportunity to attend such accelerators and conferences for their personal and organization development. Hence, the reason why we started the Impact Leaders Connect (ILC).
ILC is an event where impact leaders learn, grow and network. The event brings together founders, team leads, volunteers and social impacts enthusiasts in one place to inspire each other and work together to make the world a better place.
